Self-reflection is a humbling process.

It’s still early in the year to make 2021 something to remember. In fact, it’s the perfect time for you to do just that and then some! The pandemic has changed many of our lives, especially our daily routines. To those who are embracing a new single status, keep in mind whether you are still working from home or staring at your ceilings at night, that you can still do all the things you wanted to do, even if it’s without a “Bae.” What about the spin classes you always wanted to take? Remember when you and your friends were planning that Girl’s Trip. Oh, and let us not forget that financial budget plan you’ve created!

Although, the one thing that you desired more than anything, a committed relationship did not happen, you still have lots to celebrate in your life. And it doesn’t include worrying about pre- COVID-19 bae” or anticipating his call!

In fact, hold your head up high and embrace this “New Year, New You.” Truly making it all about you!

You may be back on the market yet again but at least you didn’t get quarantined with someone who doesn’t have your best interests.

So continue to focus on yourself. The right companion will come along and if there’s another another global crisis, you will not have to worry about if he will call, or stick around. Consider it a blessing if pre-Covid 19 Bae isn’t around anymore. That’s a blessing. Many of us know deep down inside when someone isn’t ready for a relationship. One thing is for certain this may be a  New Year, but take some time to self reflect before making room for a new relationship. .
